Hello!

   Paupack UMC is a church home for the whole family, where you can learn about God in a way that is not only practical but fun, too! We are serious about the Bible, the truths found in it and applying those truths to our lives and ministries. But we also like to laugh, cry and experience life together at Paupack UMC!

   

   Paul wrote to the Romans: “in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” What is Paul talking about? It’s a family! So what does the Paupack family look like? We are an inter-generational group, celebrating the diversity of our lives together. Young, not so young, married, single, widowed, different ethnic backgrounds, different economic circumstances… all sides of life are represented in our family.

 

   We as a church seek to grow closer to God through the study of His Word and prayer, but also apply what we’ve learned to our day to day lives in a practical way. But it’s not just about us. We’re enthusiastic about reaching the community and world around us with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Are we perfect? Far from it. We surely are a work in progress. But that’s what makes it so easy for anyone and everyone to fit in at Paupack UMC.

So, though imperfect, we are a community with deep roots that likes to celebrate its heritage and build off of it. But we’re also a community living in the 21st century here in Paupack, PA, passionate about being responsive to the needs of the people around us and throughout the world. We’re looking for similarly imperfect, but passionate people who would like to join us in this great adventure of being God’s visible representatives.
